In this project you should chose the painting of the old masters and recreate it. The main aim of the project is to analyse the painting in the manner of the light and mood, as well as posing and costumography. You can go into the literal recreation of the painting or you could do the statement in the manner of mock, critique or parody.

With this project I decided to go with the painting from Gustav Jean Jacquet. I liked the posing as well as tone of the light. Regarding the execution the most demanding thing was to find the appropriate clothing. Since, all of it’s outfit are large pieces of fabric who are falling down I had a luck of having curtains in similar color, which I had opportunity to re-adjust later on in the post production. To get the feeling of real painting on top I added a bit of the patternish texture and filter to achieve this warm tone look. Enhancing the makeup and folding of the clothes helped out to rise this project to the even higher level.
