AWAReNEss I portraits

Women violence is presented as awareness campaign where women will be ‘labeled’ as something no matter how they look like or what they do. They are labeled – judged by the society. Judged and sentenced for the crimes, and for that reason, in this series they are documented with their plates as mugshots. They end up being prisoners of the labels they receive. All the women at least once experienced this form of violence.
