Develop the creative concept for branding the Days of the week. What do you think about the day, an abstract concept that you have to give a definition and characteristics? You can observe a “Day” like a product that has its qualities and has very personal meaning to anyone. It can be very complex or very simple. You treat it as you feel. Do you define “day” by the things you put in it or vice versa? What is its structure? It’s like your handwriting, your fingerprint, you have similar schedules but again in the end everyone has a personal experience of a particular day.

From the very start of this project I wanted to do a certain design that I would like myself to have. Since we are all living constantly in a circle of weeks, constant repetition, I immediately thought about the design for certain clothing or generally something that could be worn. I decided to design the tote bags, using only typography and black and white color. Additionally I described each of the day with the word that for me explains that day. I experimented a lot with the designs to reach the visual point of interest using only the typography.

TOTE BAG DESIGN
The experimentation with the design led to the following designs. I aimed for dynamic, overlapping elements of typography but still keeping it controlled and unified. The visual interest had to be achieved on every individual photograph especially thinking about people wearing this as a tote bag design.
